Senior Developer (Remote)

Sweden Unlimited is one of the top ecommerce agencies for fashion, lifestyle, luxury and beauty brands. We are searching for a talented and experienced Senior Developer to join our team. This position requires skills in building ecommerce websites using the latest front-end technologies. In this role you will be passionate about writing clean, reusable code with strong emphasis on stability and performance. To be successful in this role you will be organized, great with clients, self-sufficient, and able to deliver on time and according to requirements. 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Participate in initial client facing intake sessions to determine and document project technical requirements
  • Collaborate with our talented design and project management teams to transform requirements into robust solutions
  • Provide technical advice and input to the scope of work including platform recommendations, hosting, migration, 3rd party plug-ins and overall technical specifications for each project
  • Work to help architect, develop, test and deploy new components & site features for our clients
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to translate visual designs into responsive front end code
  • Assist with the integration / onboarding of new technologies and applications
  • Provide long term solutions and short term options for common maintenance requests
  • Build out custom Shopify themes and modifying pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the project
  • Implement marketing pixels and client-specific integrations
  • Represent Sweden in a professional manner during sales calls/meetings where technical input necessary

Skills & Requirements:

 

  • 4-6 years experience in a professional development environment, with at least 2 years of experience developing custom Shopify themes, agency experience a plus
  • Expertise in Shopify Liquid template language
  • Demonstrate a mastery of HTML, CSS/SCSS & JavaScript; Vue.js and/or React.js experience a plus
  • Well-versed in Git version control system
  • Proficient with best practices in responsive development
  • Proven results in performance-focused development and optimization
  • Fundamental understanding of Shopify and its API / Application ecosystem

QA Analyst (Remote)

Sweden Unlimited is a leading provider of ecommerce solutions, and we are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing our websites and ensuring that they meet our high standards for quality and performance. You will also be working closely with our development team to ensure that our websites are built to specifications. The role will consist of both front-end and back-end testing of Shopify Stores, working closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure that all projects release. 

What you’ll do:

  • Knowledge and experience with the Shopify Ecommerce platform.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure a high level of quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to accurately describe issues to clients, developers, and project managers.
  • A high attention to detail to catch issues within acceptance criteria, edge cases, and other potential issues.

Senior Designer (Remote)

The Senior Designer at Sweden Unlimited works under the direct supervision our Chief Creative Officer to produce creative collateral for high-end fashion and luxury clients, applying expertise in interactive design, visual design, and prototyping to deliver cohesive, user-centric experiences to our clients. They are high-functioning creatives that are able to manage and oversee their projects, contribute originality and expertise to Sweden’s digital products, and keep the project cohesively on track. They will be responsible for managing the creative elements of our client relationships and follow best practices within process, communication, utilization and be familiar with the full spectrum of our digital offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Distill complex requirements into features that are incredibly simple and elegant
  • Deliver designs rapidly while maintaining a meticulous eye for detail and consistency
  • Manage the full lifecycle of product design from sketches and wireframes to visual design and functional prototypes
  • Participate in design testing to ensure compatibility
  • QA staged content and tweak as necessary following style guides
  • Assist with basic, styling-related HTML
  • Make design decisions based on good judgement, experience, research, and data
  • Overseeing project design all the way through execution

  • Excellent grasp of the design thinking and prototyping process, including product/interaction/visual, with the know-how to move from pencil on paper to layout to pixel-perfect handoff using tools such as Sketch, Invision, and Zeplin

Senior UX Designer (Remote)

As a Senior UX designer at Sweden, you will be leading stakeholder interviews; creating user journeys and flows, user personas, sitemaps, and wireframes; managing design files; and offering design support when needed to the design team. Project Management

Ecommerce Product Manager (Remote)

We are seeking an Ecommerce Product Manager to lead ecommerce and website design and development projects. You will be responsible for planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle on robust ecommerce projects for a variety of clients, helping them to grow their brands and achieve their business goals. You will be the day-to-day contact for clients on assigned projects, and work with our design, development, and production teams to ensure that our clients receive superior support and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate projects based on project scopes and SOWs provided by sales department
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines
  • Create and manage project roadmaps and requirements documentation with support from design and technical teams
  • Accountable for high quality and consistent project management documentation including status reports, project plans, meeting minutes, and other project documentation
  • Manage and track project progress and communicate project status to internal and client teams
  • Plan and monitor tasks throughout assigned projects to ensure each item is completed in a timely manner 
  • Manage resource assignments of assigned projects and proactively identify resource challenges; and participate in weekly department resource planning, daily standups and time sheet reconciliation meetings
  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
  • Run Jira ticketing system for assigned projects and manage coordination of development, QA, and deployment activities
  • Communicate with clients throughout the project and ensure the highest level of service
  • Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements

 

Requirements:

  • 3 years+ experience working in ecommerce — agency or brand side
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and persuasive communication, and expert organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage several simultaneous projects, and work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proven experience with Shopify and Shopify Plus, and other web/ecommerce platforms
  • Experience with email marketing tools, third party applications and integrations (warehouses, ERPs, POS systems, etc.)
  • Attention to detail for work output to clients, and during internal review process prior to work being released to clients
