Blu Dot has been a defining voice in American furniture design for over twenty years, known for balancing playful irreverence with thoughtful craftsmanship. When they came to Sweden, their Magento site was beginning to limit growth. Content updates required HTML, global sites were fragmented across platforms, trade and commercial workflows were manual, and there was no POS integration. The goal was to bring everything together on Shopify Plus into a single, unified commerce experience spanning DTC, B2B, and POS, supporting retail, wholesale, trade, commercial, and international audiences while maintaining the integrity of the brand experience.

Approach

Sweden rebuilt the experience on Shopify Plus, creating a modular foundation designed for flexibility and scale. The new platform supports all customer types through a single backend, simplifying operations while enabling a unified commerce experience across DTC, B2B, and retail.

Reusable sections replaced rigid templates, and a more flexible content structure allows the team to update and evolve the site without relying on development. Throughout, the focus was on maintaining the clarity and character of the brand while improving performance across the entire experience.
